This is BJP government election budget: Siddaramaiah
Opposition leader Siddaramaiah criticized the BJP government's election budget.
After presenting the budget, Siddaramaiah said that the elections will be over in two months. This is the exit budget of the BJP government. This time the budget size is Rs 3 lakh. crossed
The government did not implement 57 of the programs announced in the last budget. Similarly, BJP had made 600 promises in its manifesto in the 2018 Vidhan Sabha elections. But Siddaramaiah said that 90 percent of them have not fulfilled their promises. Siddaramaiah said that since the elections are going to be held in two months, the budget has been presented again with false promises.
He said that Siddaramaiah, who took the government to task with the promise of omniscience, has done nothing but float the people in a world of dreams. He said the debt is 5,64,896 crore, 2,47,000 crore was in my last term. 3,22,000 crore debt has increased. 41916 crore loan in the coalition government but 2,54, 760 crore was loaned during the BJP period. 1,16,512 crore in our five-year period. By this, the state is trapped in debt. He alleged that they have made the people of the state debtors by taking loans in haste. If so, how can it be called a pro-development budget, he questioned.
Overall, this is a disappointing, electoral budget. There is no mention of committed expenditure in the budget. No effort has been made to reduce the committed cost. No action has been taken to prevent unnecessary expenditure. He accused the state of bankrupting it financially and getting it into a spiral of debt.
